Safety check of memorials in the Church yard

Welford is now in a Conservation Area

Welford has now been designated as a Conservation area by Daventry District Council. This puts in place tighter planning controls for anyone seeking permission to alter or demolish a building, or carry out work to trees, in order to maintain the special interest of the area.

Dog fouling

If you walk your dog, always carry the means to clear up after your pet - a simple plastic bag will do the trick or buy poop scoops from a local pet shop

This even applies if you are walking your dog on a public footpath, bridleway and even in fields as livestock can be harmed
