Street lights

Phase 2 of the Parish Council's plan to replace the street lights with energy efficient LED lights was completed on the 14th May. The new lights were installed in Avon Fields, Butchers Close and Woodford Glebe.

The lights are more energy effient using 90% less energy and are guaranteed for 10 years. The remaining non LED lights in the village will be replaced at the earliest opportunity.

Library service online

The library service is helping people keep busy with their virtual library services while the lockdown measures are in place with e-book and e-audio offers in place, virtual RhymeTime sessions being run for families with young children, and books and jigsaws being delivered to people who are unable to leave home at the moment.

Park improvements

The Parish Council has plans to improve facilities in the park during the year. The intention is to instal outdoor gym equipment which can be used by all age groups from teen upwards.
